Deanna lived around the corner from me when we were kids and she was a friend for a short time. I remember her as a very nice, quiet, intelligent girl who was comfortable with herself. I reached out to her years ago to join us for our luncheons, but she never responded. I see in her obit she had a very full life. I am glad of that. I wish I had tried harder to connect.

Deanna and I were friends since grade school.  We double dated, drove to work at Purdue together, and many good times.   She gave me a surprise Bridal Shower.   She was my Maid of Honor.  We lost touch after moving to Virginia.  All those memories.
