The following information is from Jerry's wife, Elaine.  

Jerry fought a long fight with many health problems included were metal rods entire back due to spinal stenois. Prostate cancer and a five year battle with lung cancer,he was a survivor with half of each lung removed.He was a trooper and fought a hard battle with much strength and always faith in GOD . He died peacefully at home in his recliner in his sleep. He went home to be with the Lord. Jerry passed away on February 24.
