Below is an obituary for John. A friend of his wrote one but for some reason it was never published and she was very kind to reply to my email. 

John McIntosh 10/7/1943 - 2/19/2021.  He was 77 years old, and would have been 78 this past October.  
He died of a Sudden Myocardial Event, a heart attack.  He died quickly and probably without pain.
John was a High School Teacher for over 30 years in the Colton School District.  After retiring he did Substitute Teaching.  He taught Science and Mathematics.
John also was an avid Researcher and studied Noah’s Arc research.  He went on about 15 trips to Mt Ararat searching for the Arc.  He collaborated with other researchers.  He was an expert in this field.
John loved the Lord, went to Calvary Chapel Lake Arrowhead Church in Twin Peaks , CA.  
John never married or had children.
John left behind a sister:  Karen Montgomery and a nephew Brian Montgomery.  Recently Karen Montgomery also went to be with the Lord.
John was a great friend and is missed by all.
