Dwight Reid

Dwight W. Reid, 69, Greenwood, passed away March 28, 2013. Born June 29,1943 in Hammond, he was a US Marine Corps veteran and member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church. He retired from Linde after 35 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 39+ years, Paula E. (Carpenter) Reid; two sons, Ryan (Amy) Reid & Shane ( Whitney) Reid; three grandchildren, Easton Robert, Mallory Elizabeth and Rylie Nicole; and siblings, Doug (Jan) Reid and Denise Reid.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 2 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 PM at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 3 at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, with additional visitation from 10-11:00 am at the church. He will be laid to rest at The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or to Our Lady of Greenwood Catholic Church.

Mary Ann Winter (Wiebers)

I was saddened to read of another of our classmates no longer with us.  I recall seeing Dwight at the 50 year class reunion and was amazed that he looked so much like he did as a young man...those memorable days at FHS.  Sympathy and prayers to his family.
